October 05, 2011 Brittni Huff Tristen, I cant believe it has been almost 5 years since you passed away. You are very missed.... I got your letters out the other day, the ones in school that you would hunt me down in the hall to give me and the ones you used to write to me on the sonic wrappers when you were working and I would come order something. You were something else, they definitely are something that I go back to when I miss my good ol' buddy :) They made me laugh and cry, just thinking about the awesome person we're all missing. Gosh, I would love to have a catch up these days! I miss you and still appreciate your sacrifice for our country and everything you did for me. LOVE YOU FRIEND! May 27, 2011 krista buttrey Well brother its been almost five years since i heard your voice. How i miss talkin to u and listening to all your history storys!! I could listen to u for hours!! Tristen u are the best brother any one could have asked for! Your a uncle now he is a sweet baby u would have really enjoyed him. I see u in him so much the way he smiles! It makes me feel good to know ur wathching over him! And i know u are cause the other day dylan was staring over at the hallway just smiling and lauging and there wasnt anyone over there so i think he seen u! July 29, 2009 Tony Wood In Honor Of Tristen Lee Buttrey My name is Anthony Wood and I had the honor to call Tristen a true friend.I met Tristen when I moved to Oklahoma in 1993. From 93-97 I got to know a wonderful human being and I'll always cherish the memories of us. I sure would have liked to see what a great person he turned into in his short life. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of your family. Tristen,you have made a big impact on a lot of peoples lives and I'm glad to say I am one of them. MY respects go to you and all of the heroes of our country. You may be gone in body but not in our hearts. I don't know what else to say but thank you. Thank you for being in all of our lives. You are missed deeply. February 21, 2010 Brittni (Elliott) Huff Tristen, I just want you to know I think about you often...and it breaks my heart that you arent there to call and catch up with. We were always good about the catch up phone calls, regardless how long it would be since we last talked, nothing changed... You were such a true friend, and were always there for me. Whether it be encouragement, a should to cry on, someone to talk to, or just protecting me... Which seems fitting with you going on to protect our country. I hate that we lost touch when you graduated, and left me to myself in High School :) Ive missed you everyday since. I'm proud of the person you had become, and that you took the honor of fighting for our country. You have left a mark on my life, and never will I forget the friend you were to me.
