Connell died while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom on May 12, 2007. He was assigned to the 4/31st Infantry Regiment, 10th MTN Division. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. James, You Have Not Been Forgotten... Say, Hooah to the others up there with you. Christmas in Arlington... Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the line has held, your job is done. June 27, 2008 PFC Jeff Pergram In Honor Of SFC James Connell This is truly a terrible tragedy. SFC Connell was one of my Drill Sergeants in Basic Training in Ft Benning Georgia. We had a mutual high respect for each other and he believed in all of his soldiers. To lose him is losing one of my brothers. To his wife and family I am sorrowed by your loss and share your pain. To SFC Connell, 2/58 House of Pain forever. Hooah brother, RIP. |
