| Tributes This Memorial Page Established by-Lavada K. Napier In Honor Of Ssgt Carletta S. Davis As the time goes and the members of Carletta stands firm in my heart, I look for ways to help others make a brand new start. In my church family and on the streets. All through the day I pray for peace. Peace in my mind, heart and soul. For those to come to build a relationship with God through his sone Jesus Christ. For all the wrong or rights we will have to fight. We just know to do what carletta did, stood up for what she knew to be right. She serviced her country with all her might. We love her eternity because we of us that know the promises will see her in the new heaven and celebrate the love that God has make. Thank you for this time to share my thoughts to those that really care. Sincerely Lavada March 22, 2012 Jasmin Hester (Ringlaben) Guess what, SSG Davis? I got married two years ago to one of the MP's we cared for. Remember when I asked you if you thought that hydrocortisone would be sufficient for a kid who had heat rash? That's the one I married. I miss you. I miss your advice. I know it's been so long, but every once in a while I have those breakdowns. Today is one of them. Probably because the memorial bracelet is soon to be a tattoo. I know you'd hate still being idolized much as you thought I was crazy for it when you were alive... But you truly were my idol, my mentor. February 17, 2012 LAVADA NAPIER Today is February 17, 2012 Carletta's Birthday. Her Sons are doing well as can be done when losing their mother. They and I think of her every day. She is a big lose to our family and her friends. I think of her so much that sometimes I feel her near. I think of the fun times and the phone calls when she is sharing something that the kids did and we would laugh about it and Bring to her rememberance of her and her brother and sister doing some of the same things. Living in Washington state and knowing that a building in Texas is going to be named after her is an honor. I hope to visit Texas one day. I just take one day at a time. Writing is one of my ways to get some ease. December 10, 2011 Lavada Kent Napier December 10, 2011 still have wounded hearts for the loss of Sgt Carletta S. Davis, Daughter first, Sister, Wife, Mother, and Solider. I hope all the family, friends and comrades will continue to remember her giving heart. Pray for her three sons. If every person look around the living area, put up, clean up the homes of the seniors, working poor, pick up trash, volunteer to help one child to read. Help recycle materials in our community. We must keep America Clean. Rebuild where you can. Take care of your nearest friends. We love forever her beautiful smile. October 18, 2009 Kris Hester SSG Davis: Although we only knew each other for a short time, I considered you as a part of my extended family. I still think of you constantly, as I do Johnny, Derek, and Adam. As November 5th comes close once again, the memories of the four of you fill my head. You should know that Jasmin idolized you, and I'm doing my best to take care of her and make her happy. I want you to know that we all still miss you, and that the memories I have of you are with a constant smile, which tend to leave me with a smile as well. You will continue to be in my thoughts, with your family in my prayers. Sept 18, 2009 SFC Rhonda Barnes In Honor Of SSG Carletta S Davis I miss you Carletta. You taught me so much in the year we were deployed together. Your compassion, drive, and love for all things still amazes me. God may have called you home, but you made a lasting impression on many hearts. I love you, my sister, my student, my teacher, and my friend. Jan 13, 2009 Jasmin Ringlaben You taught me so much SSG Davis... because of you, I am where I am now both in my career and in my personal life. You impacted me completely and I think of you daily... daily... Dec 29, 2008 Lavada Napier Today is December 28, 2008. Counting the days beyond your earthy death date does not make the pain go away. It just pulls the scape on my wounded heart. Talking to my grandchildren is like medicine to ease the pain. Writing, reading and talking about my daughter, Carletta helps me get to a point in life to encourage others. Encourage them to think about what actions to take toward another. To have a steadfast Godly purpose in this life. Not that people build brownie points for entrance to the everlasting place, but a height of greatest happiness right here on earth. The world is like a Parlor of pigs. Some of us entertained angels and did not even know. If you look back in your memory, conversating with Carletta you will find the encourage thoughts she gave in Love. She could not make the decisions for you. I remember listening to her sharing the evidence of her soul's place in Heaven. Although George Washington warned against entanglements with! foreign countries, we all have the Grace of God covering us. In our fickle state we covet, cherish and value ungodly actions as if they matter with God. Only kindness, gentleness, Loving, patience and self-control. Only these thing will bring your heart as pure gold through the fire. Look into your heart remove those things that block the true you from taking Godly, holy actions within your community. Just Writing a letter of Love to a senior person setting alone in a nursing home can cheer up their day. For they have grown weary, not like the men now the battlefield. They need cheering up and cheering on for they do the things we need to fellowship as we do. I want each person that read this tribute for Carlett a to look inside your home find something you can give to another person and help brighten their day. Start paying forward. Each one of us can make a different, these soldiers did!!!! I Love you Carletta S. Davis and I will never forget you and the other 4500+men and women that died on battlefield. Dec 10, 2008 Lavada Napier Sgt. Carletta S. Davis first a daughter, a niece,a sister,an aunt, a mother, a friend, a helper in time of need, a medical professional, and a lover of God's commands. We cannot spend all our time on our knees, but it is possible to have a prayerful attitude at all times. We as a family of believers in Christ "...urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as the Word teaches us. I want you to know what will happen to the Christians who have died so you will not be full of sorrow like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus comes, God will bring back with Jesus all the Christians who have died. I can tell you this directly from the Lord; We who are still living when the Lord returns will not rise to meet him ahead of those who are in their graves. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the arc! Angel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. So comfort and encourage each other with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Jan 26, 2008 SSG Carletta Davis I wear your memorial bracelet everyday. It's still hard to believe you are gone. I pray that your 3 boys and Thomas find peace. I miss you and appreciate EVERYTHING you have done for me! I am kind of lost for words because it is still sinking in. I love you Carletta. |
