In Honor Of Brandon Dawson
Brandon will be missed greatly here in Tunica County,MS. We are students of the high school
were he attended a little over 3 years ago. We are reminiscing about pass times and that were
spent with Dawson and we are keeping his family members strong. Times with him were
great, well spent, with lots of smiles. Now that he is gone we not only cry but we smile
knowing he was doing a great deed when he was killed. We are going to cry a lot but when we
think about it we will smile because we know he is now in a better place.

To a great son, soldier, brother, and friend.  My heart has a void yet at times I feel at peace.  
You had a soldiers heart from the start.  You did not run from your destiny you faced it head
on.  I will forever keep you in my heart and hold dear the memories I have.  I pray to God for
the strength that you had to do what I have to do in this world you left behind.  Your memory
will help me through.  I will always love and keep your memories alive in my mind heart and
soul. I look forward to the day we meet again.

Pennie Smith
Thank you, Brandon, and all the brave and courageous Soldiers that fight and die for our
freedom. I hadn't seen Brandon since he joined the military, but he was family and I loved him.
I pray everyone continues to remember, respect and honor this fallen HERO!

20, of Tunica, Miss.; assigned to 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 3rd Maneuver
Enhancement Brigade, Fort Richardson, Alaska; died Sept. 24 while traveling between Ghanzi
and Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, when his military vehicle was attacked with an improvised
explosive device. Also killed was Pfc. Jaysine P. S. Petree.
