Tributes Memorial Page Established By-Mandie Burford In Honor Of Gary Gooch I knew Spc. Gary Gooch. I wasn't very close to him, but I knew him enough to know that he was an AMAZING person. We will all forever miss him. We are so proud of you Gary. We love you. March 30, 2011 Dion Fernandez I have a black bracelet that reads SPC Gary L. Gooch C CO 1-17 KIA 11/05/09 Afghanistan. I found the bracelet at Southcenter Mall and would like to return it to its owner. December 10, 2009 Sherry & Mike Conklin Gary - you will be forever missed; your smile, laugh, your roller blading :) We were extremely fortunate to have known you. Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers and with you all. Rest in peace! November 29, 2009 erin murphy I love you Gary and you will always be remembered as one of the best. I will never let go of your memory. You were amazing in everything that you did! Thank you for being our hero and thank you for standing up for us! You did what many of could not do; you took a stand. November 28, 2009 Courtney Crowley There are no words for the way I feel now, the best description is I am missing a piece of myself. You will never be forgotten. You were not only my cousin but my friend and my brother in my heart. "To live in the hearts of those you leave behind is never to die."-Robert Orr- Live on my brother. -Courtney November 24, 2009 Megan E. Crowley God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best... Gary you were the best friend and brother a girl could have. You have always been an inspiration to us. When ever I smile or laugh you will be there. I miss you and one day we will be on the same beach again. I love you ... Megan November 20, 2009 Chas Clark Gary and I served in the same platoon for our entire military careers. When my squad got blown up in August, he and his squad were right behind us, and rushed up to help us, they were there to make sure we were taken care of. Hearing about his death was a painful blow. I don't know how much more our platoon can take. We lost 2 the day I lost my left eye. We lost seven in October, and now we've lost Gary and Aamot. All I can say is that it's a shittier world without Gary, but it's better than it was before he came around. |
