I am forever thankful for that opportunity. You also threw in lots of extra training just for first platoon. I love my country and I will never forget you or the impact you had on us as men and soldiers. Because of you and our great country, I got to do what others only wish and dream of, be a United States soldier. God Bless You and Your Family and Friends We will miss you. Hurst For Dave's family...we love, regret, and are so very proud. I knew Dave through Rachel Ladder, Bert Moore, and my husband, Keith Bowman. There are nights that I dream about the times that Dave was at 'home' with us. Dave was the sweetest, kindest, and gentlest, among giants. I only new him for a few years, but the stories from the ladies and gentlemen that new him during his lifetime, are priceless. Dave was a gentleman and a friend. I know that Dave will rest easy with God until we are all reunited. |
