He served 3 years with a 9 month deployment with his unit, Foxtrot Forward Support Company 215th Brigade Support Battalion, in Iraq. He was currently stationed at Fort Hood. He was a man dedicated to his family and friends. He was also kind and generous to everyone he came in contact with. Mark was a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings, enjoyed sports, and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father and loving husband, never went anywhere without his beautiful smile.
