Tributes This Memorial Page Established by- Patricia Black In Honor Of SSG Paul J. Johnson Our "PJ" was born in Calumet MI 4 Nov 1973, and KIA 20 Oct 2003 at Fallujah Iraq. He was 82nd Airborne-505 PIR out of Ft. Bragg NC. He was the first Upper Peninsula soldier Killed in Action. He was a wonderful son, husband and Father. He was extremely respected and loved by all "his guys". We still get letters of tribute from the men who served with him, and under him, even now, almost 7 years later. He was the "Ultimate Soldier" as General Petreaus called him. Memorial Day 2011 Toni O'Brien Baker You will always be remembered PJ for who you were & what you stood for.
