Tributes This Memorial Page Established by -James Weatherly In Honor Of PFC Harold B McCarn My 2nd cousin, PFC Harold B. McCarn paid the ultimate price for freedom on 16 March 1945 during the final days of World War II. Harold crossed the Rhine River at Remagen but was killed in action just 53 days short of Germany's surrender. Harold was the same age as my mother and was one of her favorite playmates growing up.
