| Tributes This Memorial Page Established by-Marge McMillan In Honor Of William " Bill" McMillan III Our son died in Iraq on July 8th doing what he believed in. He was a combat medic and had just earned the Bronze Star in April for helping his fellow soldiers. He believed we were doing the right thing and felt pulling out prematurely would not make sense. He died from an IED explosion. He will loved and missed forever. Lloyd and Marge McMillan. Brian April 3, 2009 Nate Rolens There is only so much to say about about Doc. He was my roommate, medic, and my friend. He was one of the most sarcastic, yet funny, medics I have known yet. He had a laugh that could not be replicated. His sense of humor and sarcasm are what I will remember most about Doc. He made fun of everyone but never meant anything by it. He could get away (for some unknown reason) with more than the average E4. I will always love and never forget Doc.
