Sgt. Matthew E. Mendoza was killed in action on June 20th, 2008.  He was killed serving his
country in Afghanistan.

I feel terrible for your loss.  I, too, am flowing in tears as I learned about the loss of Sgt.
Mendoza.  We learned all about him in class today.  I wish I could bring him back.  We won’t
forget about him.
