William "Lee" Merideth...
A young man, Family friend...the boy next door and Hero. You will always be remembered in
the hearts of all you've touched in life. We were all personally blessed with knowing you.
Thank you, fellow Soldier...for you have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It was not in
vain.
In my mind and heart you are in our Lord's Army, now. Posted behind the gates of his
heavenly fortress. Heaven got a little more nicer, that you are now there.

Fort Carson, Colo.; died Sept. 21 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy
forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device.
