43, of Rossford, Ohio; assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died Aug. 24 of
wounds sustained in a non-combat-related incident in Herat, Afghanistan. Also killed was Sgt. 1st
Class Scott M. Carney.

In Honor Of SFC Daniel E. Miller

Sergeant First Class Daniel E. Miller, 43, of Rossford,
Ohio. Miller was one of two soldiers assigned to the 1st BTT, 1st Inf
Div that died on August 25, 2007 while supporting Operation Iraqi
Freedom. If my memory is correct, Daniel left either five or six children
and his wife behind. My sincere condolences to his family. God Bless..
Christmas in Arlington... Rest easy, sleep well my brothers. Know the
line has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken
up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell.....
Daniel, say Hooah to the others up there with you and remember, You Will
Never Be Forgotten... Rod.
