Anbar province, Iraq.

LCPL Daniel Olsen was an extremely intelligent and
loving person. He stayed out of the spotlight and enjoyed working in
groups. He was wonderful with kids and was very devoted to his faith. His
faith in God was amazing to see. He loved to play tricks on people but
never the hurtful kind. He lived as a strong Christian and died the same
way. He joined the Marines just after his 18th birthday on March 15,
2005. He was very proud to be a Marine. His unit was deployed to Iraq on
January 29, 2007. He was shot and killed on April 2, 2007 in Fallujah,
Iraq. His life and death is an inspiration to us all. We love and miss
him.

"All gave some, some gave all."

He was proud of the work he was doing there. He believed in what he was
doing. He spoke positively of the changes that he was seeing and
believed that they were making a big difference.

He is my hero.
