We grew up together and have a lot of memories, and from all of them, I can tell you he was an exceptional person. He had a smile that would make every horrible thought or fear disappear; a laugh that would ease any tense moment; and a personality that made you feel so welcomed and loved. He was definitely a character; always make you laugh even if it meant he went to the extremes. Never selfish and always put other people before himself, and would give you the shirt off his back. Which made him an AMAZING soldier. He died to protect others while he served his country. I am so proud of him. The army made him a MAN, and a very BRAVE man at that. He will always be remembered as our little bubba, and will always be in our prayers. Seeing him grow from a boy to a man; and not just physically, but mentally; was a pleasure! And I am proud to say that he is and always will be MY HERO! I love you bubba, and I will miss you dearly. And I will have your dog tags tattooed on my body for a constant reminder of what you loved to do and what you went through for your family! |
