Feb 19, 2008 Amy L. Simpson This is a Memorial Page for Jack Tavis Sweet. As a boy I can remember how his Mother, Terresa, never wanted him to get dirty, she always kept him clean and in the house a lot. He didn't oplay much out in the sun, I guess that she didn't want for him to burn. But he was a sweet kid, as to was he when he grew up, so I am being told. He left his mother and went to live with his Father Glen Sweet, in New York. I never knew Glen myself, but I will say from the time that I spent with Jack when he was here in Texas December of 2007, which was a short time, but I believe that Glen had done a really good job with him. Why he would go off and join the Army at such a young age is beyond me, but I am being told that was all that he ever talked about and really wanted to do. So he did... I am so very proud of him.. I only wish that he would have been around a lot longer, to have a family of his own and watch his own kids grow up.. I think that would have been a treat for him and all of us.. Jack you will FOREVER be in our hearts,! our prayers, and also in our minds.. We will keep you and the rest of your family and friends in our prayers always and forever. Can't say that I have ever known anyone in the service who has died there, but it truly is an honor to say that I knew you and that I was part of your family. R.I.P Jack, for you have done your job here on Earth, and it is now time for you to spread your wings and fly like an ANGEL with the others. We will all lean on each other down here for comfort and support, and We WILL make it through.. SO please don't worry about us.. We all know that you are happy where you are, and is God for he has brought another of his children home with him. Just watch over us every now and then, which I am sure that you will be doing anyhow. I know that you are in a better place, for there is no other that could even come close to there. No more pain, no more sickness, no more being tired, or anything else.. Just happy, and peaceful. I can only pray and wish that life on Earth would come back to being that way. Well man that is about all that I can come up with for now. Remember Please that you are forever in our hearts and on our minds.. You may be gone from Earth, but never from our minds and hearts and soul.. YOU ARE TRULY BLESSING TO EACH OF US, FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR OUR COUNTRY.. YOU ARE MISSED EVER SO MUCH, AND WILL BE FOREVER... YOU ARE LOVED AND FOREVER WILL BEE.... PLEASE DONT WORRY ABOUT US JUST WATCH OVER US AND YOU WILL SEE THAT WE WILL BE OKAY, FOR THAT IS WHAT YOU WOULD WANT FOR US.. BLESS YOU SWEET SWEET JACK... I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!
