Our Fallen Soldier nears it’s two year anniversary the beginning of our As Mission become evidently clear. We want
to reflect with all of you our continued vision for this endeavor, “Our Fallen Soldier for the coming years".
As many of you already know… Our Fallen Soldier was born from one families tragedy, "Our” families tragedy.
Though that horrific experience was beyond any other- we came to realize that although this was, at the time, our
“Own” personal tragedy, it was also our nations tragedy! There were many others suffering! Thousands of families
had the same tragic circumstances! We were driven by our initial vision, that these brave and courageous soldiers
would NEVER be forgotten as long as we had breath in our bodies. Their selfless act of courage and defense of
OUR freedoms would always be remembered!
As we have spent the last two years on this mission we have come to realize the true implications of war! Way
beyond the hundreds of memorial pages that family and friends have submitted to Our Fallen Soldier. We have come
to know many families, and are comforted by the relationships we have established, and the support that we have
been able to lend through these unimaginable circumstances.
For the families of Fallen Soldiers, the ones who do not make it back from the front lines of war, there is always the
pain of missing them. For the families of soldiers that are coming home from the war with Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and wounds, the journey has just begun. These are the families that
are often in the need of the biggest support. They have given so much of themselves for our freedom and they
deserve our support!
Our Fallen Soldier has the same goal it originated with—although we realize with time—that we must increase our
outreach to include the thousands of soldiers coming back with horrific physical and mental injuries that they will
NEVER fully recover from. These soldiers often live a life of isolation and are haunted by unimaginable images of
war, and are plagued with fear. It our job as a country to make a difference in the lives of these soldiers and let them
know that the sacrifices they have endured physically and mentally will not go unnoticed.
As we enter into our third year we make a continued pledge to the families of Fallen Heroes. We WILL keep their
soldiers memories alive, we WILL continue to tell their stories, we WILL continue to assist the children of these
heroes. We WILL increase our outreach to the families and soldiers coming home to a new and ever-changing world.
We are proud to share our mission and goals for the future and hope that you continue to support our efforts.
We thank each and every soldier for their service to our country and each and every family for their “ultimate
sacrifice”
