| Tributes This Memorial Page Established by-SFC Rod Brewer In Honor Of SERGEANT Timothy R. Van Orman SERGEANT Timothy R. Van Orman, 24, of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. He was an infantry non-commissioned officer assigned to 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment where he served as a fire team leader. A native of Port Matilda, Pa., Van Orman enlisted in the Army in February 2003 and completed basic and individual training at Fort Benning, Ga. He was assigned to 1st BCT, the "Warrior" brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York in June 2003. Van Orman served in Afghanistan from August 2003 to May 2004 and also deployed to Iraq from August 2005 to July 2006. His military education includes the Warrior Leader Course and the Air Assault Course. His awards and decorations include the Purple Heart, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation emblem, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non-Commisssioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Air Assault Badge. He is survived by his wife and daughter and his parents, of Port Matilda. Tim, You Will Never Be Forgotten.... Say Hooah to the others up there with You. Christmas in Arlington....
